TRENDING:

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

Left to right: Chiara Ferragni, Kendall Jenner, Carey Mulligan, Kylie Jenner, Danielle Bernstein.
Here's the section of my blog where I speak about the trending items in the fashion and entertainment world. Today's particular topic- ripped jeans. Ripped denim seems to have been around for quite a while, but has just recently made a strong comeback this year. This is a trend that easily can be homemade (DIY), with just a pair of scissors and, of course, the jeans. But don't go too crazy when DIYing them, as too much tearing can make it look as if you were being attacked by a wild animal (unless that's the look you're going for). Some of my personal favorite looks in which people style the ripped jean are shown above. From Chiara Ferragni of theblondesalad going all black (4 for you) with white detailing and a golden chain on the ankle boots, to Danielle Bernstein of weworewhat with a pastel colored knit and dark point toed shoes. What do you think about this trend? Yay or nay? Leave a comment below! Xxx

RECAPSTAGRAM

Saturday, December 14, 2013

As December continues, it's time for a recap on some of the Instagram photos I've posted!

1. I fall in love with makeup, clothes, and jewelry pretty quickly (which can be a bad thing), and my most recent photo focused on my love for Benefit's Gimme Brow brow gel and They're Real! mascara that I purchased on Black Friday. These products are so worth every single penny; I now have a chance of having full brows and longer/fuller looking lashes every single day. (Thanks benefit!!)

2. I went to Wingstop after almost half a year! One of my favorite places to go out and eat, which was why I was extremely excited to be going down there again. And of course, I was wearing my go-to boots from Call it Spring.. best pair of boots I own!

3. Trying to take a photo with a friend's kitty, but he obviously doesn't enjoy the paparazzi very much haha.

4. Usual #fromwhereistand/#ootd post, this time featuring a soft burgundy knitted jumper and a vintage velvet jacket that I was lucky enough to rescue from my mom's "Get Rid Of" box.

5. Another item which I fell for the second I saw it- "Versace Reve Chronograph Stainless Steel and Gold PVD Watch", or in other words, the love of my life that tells time. I don't even want to think about it, it's simply beyond every type of perfection.

6. A sneaky outtake photo of one of my previous posts, featuring my #1 jacket and a floppy hat.

7. Starbucks nights with the one and only Stephanie M. from "mysimpleshowcase" on Tumblr.

8. Another one of those #ootd posts, wearing a dotted H&M dress and army green/olive jacket (and my favorite boots).

9. A #fromwhereistand photo from when I unexpectedly dressed as a Christmas tree, haha.

Hope everyone's having a wonderful December so far! Only a few more weeks until a new month, and a new year, how exciting :) If you want to follow me on Instagram, click on any Instagram photo from the side and it will redirect you to my page!

MIDNIGHT

Friday, December 6, 2013

Top: Q | Boots: Call it Spring Collection | Jacket: Levi's | Hat: eBay |
Jumpsuit: Forever 21 (used as shorts)

Three words: I. love. black. I seriously can't have an outfit where I'm not wearing one black clothing item! Hahaha, sort of a new accomplishment to achieve one day. Now yesterday, I spent my day with a friend of mine (Stephanie from mysimpleshowcase on Tumblr), accompanied by her cuddly and adorable pets. Before taking a quick trip to Starbucks, I threw on my new favorite leather jacket and floppy hat. I had been so ecstatic to have found this jacket during Black Friday shopping, as it greatly resembles a Burberry one that I had loved, but had also gotten used to the fact that I would never be able to get my hands on it. Alas, even though I was freezing my you-know-what off, I had a lovely time with Stephanie, as always! If you want, you can shop this look below:
Enjoy your weekend! Xxx
