Hi guys! Quick apology: really sorry for taking ages to update my blog! I've finally gotten the time to share something new with you all today :) Instead of having a typical day of classes, I got the opportunity to visit a couple of museums in LA! Below are photos from exhibits in the Craft & Folk Art and Petersen Automotive Museum. As I was doubting whether I was interested enough to actually attend both exhibits, I can now say I'm extremely glad I didn't pass up the opportunity. While learning facts about marvelous sculptors and artists, it enabled my mind to take in ideas and admire all of their amazing work. As for the Petersen Museum, I got to see a massive variety of cars! It's unbelievable how far the human brain can go when it comes to inventing things.
And while you're scrolling though my photos, I decided to add a few silly ones I took with friends during the nifty museum tours.
This car was seriously the cutest thing ever to me! |
Ladies and gentlemen, the Batmobile! Apparently, the costume shown above which the life size Batman is wearing was actually used in the filming of the original movie! |
Kisses from my friend Marissa and I hehe. Marissa is wearing a knitted jumper from H&M. |
Elephant bracelet: gift from my mom; Bottom bracelet: eBay.com. |
My new favorite ankle boots from Vince Camuto. LOVE everything about them! |
This particular artist used recycled items (i.e. broken plates, mirrors, shells, bottle caps, etc.) to create his work. Amazing. |
My outfit: Jacket: Thrifted | Top: Zara | Jeans: H&M | Boots: Vince Camuto
Your soooo pretty! looks like you had fun! Your elephant bracelet is super cute, by the way. xx
